The principle
Instead of water and a sponge, waterless washing uses a product applied to the bodywork. It loosens the dirt and lets the microfibre glide, which then lifts the dirt away. No wash water is left behind.
At ParkWash, each area of the car gets its own biodegradable product, applied with microfibre following a set protocol.
The 3-step protocol
- 1. Dusting: dust and loose particles come off first, so nothing is ever rubbed dry — that is how micro-scratches are avoided.
- 2. Washing: each area gets its dedicated biodegradable product, applied with microfibre.
- 3. Drying: careful wiping with a clean, dry microfibre for a streak-free shine.
Does waterless washing scratch the paint?
Scratches happen when dirt is rubbed dry across the paint. That is why our protocol always starts with dusting, and why we use clean microfibres and a product that lets the surface glide.
Every wash comes with before and after photos, which you can view online in your customer area.
How much water do you save?
A traditional wash uses about 150 litres of water. A ParkWash wash: 0 litres of drinking water. With a weekly wash, that is roughly 7,800 litres saved per car per year.

Are the products really biodegradable?
Yes, all our products are 100% biodegradable.
How long does a waterless wash take?
20 to 40 minutes for an exterior wash, depending on the vehicle.
